    In general a quadratic equation form is ax^2 + bx + c = 0 - - eqn 1 Solution: therefore in the given equation 1/4x^2+5=0 it can be rewritten as x^2+0x + 20=0; and this is the standard form therefore comparing with eqn 1 we get, a=1; b=0; c=20 Ans : - a=1; b=0; c=20 to obtain x, the quadratic formula is x = {â’b (+-) âš (b2 â’ 4ac) } / 2a x = 2i 5^ (1/2) [where i = {-1 ^ (1/2) }]
