A car travels 150 miles on 12 gallons of gasoline. How many gallons of gasoline are needed to travel 500 miles?

    40 gallons.

    150x3=450.

    12x3=36

    150/3=50 50+450=500

    12/3=4

    36+4=40 Gallons
