A ramp has a base that is 60 inches long and a height of 11 inches. Let x equal the length in inches of the slanted side of the ramp. What is the value of x?

    So this will use the equation of

    a^2+b^2=c^2

    you know a and you know b

    so 60^2 + 11^2=c^2

    3600+121=3721

    BUT you have to square root it.

    =61 inches
