Johnny is designing a rectangular poster to contain 36-in squared of printing material with a 1 -in margin at the top and bottom and a 1 -in margin at each side. What overall dimensions will minimize the amount of paper used?

    A=b*h

    36 = 6*6

    (6+2) * (6+2) = 64in-squared

    A square would be the most efficient, and its area would by 64in-squared the dimisions are 8inx8in.
