    Gabriella, it is important that you use "^" to denote exponentiation. "y3" doesn't cut it.

    The gradient of F is (partial derivative of F with respect to x) i + (partial with respect to y) j.

    Thus, G (x, y) = the gradient in question = (-y^3/x^2) i + (0) j (answer)
