    The formula for the volume of a square pyramid is V=Bh

    Plug in the numbers you are given: 99=B (9.5)

    Divide (9.5) from both sides: 99/9.5 = B

    You get approximately 10.42105

    B = s*s = s^2

    So, 10.43=s^2

    sqrt 10.43=s

    S = approx. 3.22
