Which is the best estimate of the capacity of a pitcher of water? A. 1,000 pints B. 1 pint C. 1 gallon D. 1,000 gallons

    I would say a pint. A gallon seems like a bit much (think of a large milk jug, which is a gallon), and there are 8 pints in a gallon. I'd say a pint.
