    Hello!

    To calculate the total price of the items after the discounts, we must multiply the price of each item by the percentage of discount, and then subtract that discount from the price.

    I know, that's probably a lot to take in! : D

    40 * 25% = 10

    40 - 10 = 30

    The final price of the shoes is $30.

    100 * 30% = 30

    100 - 30 = 70

    The final price of the jacket is $70.

    30 + 70 = 100
