Mal is putting money into a savings account. She starts with $350 in the savings account, and each week she adds $30.

Let S represent the total amount of money in the savings account (in dollars), and let W represent the number of weeks Mal has been adding money. Write an

equation relating S to W. Then use this equation to find the total amount of money in the savings account after 19 weeks.

    S=350 + (30*w)

    so

    350 + (30*19) = 920

    Each week she adds $30.

    W is number of weeks Mal adds money.

    S is total amount of money in her account.

    => S = 30W + 350

    After W = 19 weeks, Mal will have 30 x 19 + 350 = 920 dollar
