    The employee's salary is $2,800

    Step-by-step explanation:

First find the commen denominator for all three. That would be 24 because they all go into it.

    1/12=2/24 1/6=4/24 5/8=15/24

Then add all of those. 2/24+4/24+15/24=21/24

Then multiply that by 100 to get the percent of the rest of the salary 21/24•100=87 1/2%

Then do 100 - 87 1/2 to find what percent $350 is of the total salary.

    100-87 1/2 = 12 1/2%

    $350 = 12 1/2%

then multiply both sides by two

    350 (2) = 12 1/2% (2)

    $700=25%

25 goes into 100 4 times so multiple $700 by 4 and you get $2,800 which is 100% of his salary!
