On a test, if 110 questions are answered and 38% of them are correct, what is the number of correct answers?

    If 100% of the answers are correct; 1*110 = 110 answers are correct.

    if 50% of the answers are correct; 0.5*110 = 55 answers are correct.

    if 38% of the answers are correct; 0.38*110 = 41.8 answers are correct.

    Because the number of answers needs to be a whole number; the number of correct answers is 41.
