All 3000 seats in a theater are being replaced. So far, 5 section of 236 seats and a sixth section containing 348 seats have been replaced. How many more seats do they still need to replace?

    So, to find the number of seats already replaced:

    5 x 236 = 1180

    1 x 348 = 348

    1190 + 348 = 1528

    So 1528 seats have been replaced.

    3000 - 1528 = 1472

    And 1472 seats still need to be replaced.
