If f (x) = 2x^3-9x^2-5x find f (2a)

    I think you just substitute 2a for x in the equation.

    f (2a) = 2 (2a) ^3 - 9 (2a) ^2 - 5 (2a)

    Simplify:

    f (2a) = 16a^3 - 36a^2 - 10a
