Mrs. Matthews drew a hexagon with a perimeter of 60 centimeters on a sheet of paper. She used the photocopier in her office to make copies of her drawings. The length of each side of the hexagons on the photocopies is 1 and 1/2 times the length of each side of the hexagon on the drawing. What is the perimeter in centimeters of each hexagon on the photocopies?

A. 40

B. 90

D. 150

    B. 90 because original is 60cm so it is 60cm / 2 = 30

    cm (1/2 of original is 30 cm) so 60cm (original) + 30cm = 90
