    Cycling = 12.5 miles

    Running =.25 x 12.5 = 3.125 which is also 3 1/8 miles

    Kayaking = 3.125 / 2 = 1.5625 which is also 1 9/16 miles

    All together, 12.5 + 3.125 + 1.5625 = 17.1875

    This is equivalent to 17 3/16 miles long.
