The ratio of the measure of the acute angle in a right triangle is 1/2. Find the measures of the two angles

    The triangle is right angled so, one of the angles must be 90°

    Now the ratio between the two acute angles is 1:2

    Let one angle be x and other be 2x

    Sum of all angles of a triangle = 180°

    90 ° + x°+2x° = 180°

    90° + 3x° = 180°

    3x° = 180° - 90°

    3x° = 90°

    x° = 30°

    So, the first acute angle = x = 30°

    And the second one = 2x = 2 (30°) = 60°
