If u (x) = - 2x^2 + 3 and v (x) = 1/x, what is the range of (u*v) (x) ?

    U (x) = 2x² + 3 and v (x) = 1/x

    1st find u (v (x)) : [Replace x of v (x) by the x of u (x)

    u (x) = 2. (1/x) ² + 3 = = = u (x) = 2x² + 3

    This s a parabola (open downward) with a minimum at (0,3)

    So the range is {y/y≥ + 3)
