A farmer made a square chicken coop with a length of 6 and a half metres. determine the area of the chicken coop

    Since a square is a regular polygon with sides of the same length, and we know the length of one side, we can find the area using the formula length times width equals area. Since the length and width are both 6, we multiply 6 by itself to get 36. The are of the coop is 36 square feet.
