    First, let's find 10% of 55

    Multiply 10% by 55

    10%*55

Convert 10% to a decimal by dividing by 100

    10/100=0.10

    0.10*55=5.5

Liam cannot be correct because 10% of 55 is 5.5, and there can not be half of a person.
