Which equivalent fractions can you use to find the sum of 2/8+3/9

    2/8 x (9/9) = 18/72

    3/9 x (8/8) = 24/72

    2 * 9 = 18

    8 * 9 = 72

    3 * 8 = 24

    9 * 8 = 72

    So we have:

    18/72 + 24/72

    Then we just add the numerators.
