What is the slope represented by this table of values for a linear function?

x - 2, 4,6,8

y - 7,10, 13,16

    You can use this formula:

    m = (y 2 - y 1) / (x 2 - x 1)

    m = (10 - 7) / (4 - 2) = 3 / 2

    Linear function: y = m x + b

    The slope is 3/2.
