What are the steps to solving this equation.

    1. Muliply parenthesis by 2

    2x+2-4=4

    2. calculate the difference

    2x-2=4

    3. move constant to the right side and change its sign

    2x=4+2

    4. add the numbers

    2x=6

    5. Divide both sides of the equation by 2

    x=3
