    92

The equation we have so far would be: (x-2) : 3=30

    plug 92 into x.

    (92-2) : 3=30

    92-2=90

    90:3=30

I think the variable is 12 because we used this equation 3 (-2+x) = 30, then we multiply 3 by - 2 and x, it will be - 6+3x=30. We add - 6 to both sides. 3x=36, then we divide by 3, and the answer is 12. (I am not sure if my answer is correct).
