Alan bought a drink and 8 chicken wings for a total of $3.65 if the drink cost him $1.25 what was the cost for each individual chicken wing

    $3.65-$1.25=$2.40

    $2.40 is the price of the 8 wings

    Second, take the wing price ($2.40) and divide that by 8.
