Let A be the probability that you throw a 1

Let B be the probability that you don't throw 1

A and B are independent events

    P (A) = 1/6 and P (B) = 5/6

    Because they are independent you multiply them: 1/6 x 5/6 = 0.138888 ...

Rounded to the nearest thousandth is 0.139
