    7 (a - 2ab + 2) - 8a + (-15) + 11ab

    = 7a - 14 ab + 14 - 8a - 15 + 11 ab

    = (7a - 8a) + (-14ab + 11ab) + (14 - 15)

    = - a - 3ab - 1

First you want the remove the parentheses from he equation:

    7 (a - 2ab + 2) - 8a + (-15) + 11ab

    7a - 14ab + 14 - 8a - 15 + 11ab

Now you want to add or subtract like terms

    7a - 14ab + 14 - 8a - 15 + 11ab

    (7a - 8a) (-14ab + 11ab) (14-15)

    -1a-3ab-1

If you want you can have an answer of either:

    -1a-3ab-1 or - a-3ab-1
