    27+3y=2x equivalent to - 2x + 3y = - 27

    x - y = 12

    -2x + 3y = - 27

    and 2x - 2y = 24 (multiplied by 2 the first equation)

    -2x + 3y = - 27

    2x-2x - 2y+3y=24-27

    y = - 3
