Jonathan's class has 30 boys. Of the students in his class, 60% are girls. How many girls are in Jonathan's class?

    Having that 30 boys is 40% of students. 30 is 40% of students the how many students is 100%. Naming X number total of students. X = (30*100) / 40=75. Then having that there are 30 boys, numbers of girls is 75-30=45.
