3. Multiply both sides by 5

3x-75=6x+60

4. Subtract 3x from both sides

-75=6x+60-3x

5. Simplify 6x+60-3x to 3x+60

-75=3x+60

6. Subtract 60 from both sides

-75-60=3x

7. Simplify - 75-60 to - 135

-135=3x

8. Divide both sides by 3

- 1353 = x

9. Simplify 1353 to 45

-45=x

10. Switch sides

x=-45
