Rhono apparently works 5*3+5 = 20 hours per week. His net pay for 4 weeks * is

    ... 4*20*8.75 * (1 - 0.20) = $560

    The listed expenses add to

    ... 35 + 21 + 18 + 24 + 15.75 = 113.75

The amount left over at the end of each 4-week period is

    ... $560 - 113.75 = $446.25

If he saves the remainder, after 12 months, he will have saved

    ... 12*$446.25 = $5,355.00

    ___

    * There are 13 periods of 4 weeks in a year. If Rhono takes no vacation, his savings balance may be $560 more than the above amount, that is, $5,915.00.
