rounding me to the nearest hundred makes me 900. The sum of my digits is 25. If you read forward or backward, i am still same. what number am i?

    The number you are looking for is 898.

    Still confused? I'll explain why:

    If we know the number rounds up to 900, then that narrows our search from the numbers 850-899.

    Now we have to look at the next criteria: The number has to be the same when read forward or backwards so if our fictional number starts in 8 then it has to end in 8.

    Now it has to add up to 25 and our only possibilities are 858, 868, 878, 888, 898.

    And lastly the only numbers of those listed that add to 25 is the number 898.
