David drove 100 miles and used eight gallons of gasoline. Rebecca drove 75 miles and used six gallons of gas. Did David said that they used gasoline at the same rate. Is he right?

    David is correct, for every 25 miles they use 2 gallons of gas. 100/25=4x2=8 gallons for David and 75/3=3x2=6 gallons for Rebecca
