Is 10x-7 equivalent to (7x-5) - (3x-2)

no, because (7x-5) - (3x-2) = 4x-3
This would, however, be true if the equation was (7x-5) + (3x-2), but since the equation is subtracting instead of adding the equation isn't equivalent to 10x-7.
