A grain silo has a diameter of 4.4 meters. The height of its cylindrical portion is 6.2 meters.

    Volume of a cylinder = Height x base are

    H = 6.2 m

    Bae are = π. R²; Diameter = 4.4 m, then Radius = 2.2 m

    Base area = π (2.2) ²

    And Volume=:

    V = (6.2). (π,2.2²) = (6.2). (π) (.4.84) = 30.008.π ≈ 94.2 m³
