    Correction

    If 300cm3 are drained out of the container,

    Answer:

    9.47 cm

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Volume of the container is given by, V = lwh where l is the length of the container, w is width and h is height.

    When filled with water, taking l as 20cm, width as 14.5 cm and height as 10.5cm, the volume of container is

    V=20*14.5*10.5=3045 cm3

    When 300 cm3 is drained, the remaining volume is 3045-300=2745 cm3

    Since the length and width is constant but height varries, the new height will be

    20*14.5*H=2745

    H=2745/290=9.4655172413793

    Rounded off, H=9.47 cm
