Let measure of angle a = 40 degrees, if angle b is complement of angle a and c is supplement of angle B, what is measure of b + measure of c

    Complementary angles (a and b) are equal to 90 °

    90° - a = b

    90° - 40° = b

    b = 50°

    Supplementary angles (b and c) are equal to 180 °, so ...

    180° - b = c

    180° - 50° = c

    c = 130°

    Measure b + Measure c = 180° btw
