In a cafeteria, 1 / 10 of the students are eating salads, and 2/5 are eating sandwiches. There are 30 students in the cafeteria. How many students are eating lunches other than salads or sandwiches?

    15 because 2/5 is 4/10 and 4/10+1/10 is 5/10 which is 1/2 and 1/2 of 30 is 15 so there has to be 15 kids eating something other than a salad or sandwich
