What is the area of a cone that has a diameter of 45ft. and the height of the cone is 96 ft.

    The formula for area of a cone is A=πr (r+√h²+r²). The radius is half the diameter, so 22.5.

    Plug our numbers into the formula.

    A=π22.5 (22.5+√96²+22.5²)

    the answer is 8560.16
