How were Alfred Adler's theories different from Sigmund Freud's

    Although similar in various formats in their core beliefs about human behavior, Adler’s theories differed from Freud due to the fact that Freud focused more prominently on the subconscious behaviors of individuals and their inherent beliefs, whereas Adler focused more so on the environment of a given individual.
