    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the distance be D and time T.

    D ∞ T

    D = kT

    Where k is the constant of proportionality.

    k = D/T

    When D = 270miles & T = 6hours

    k = 270/6

    k = 45

    : - D = 45T

    When T = 8hours

    D = 45 * 8

    D = 360miles

    Answer: 360 miles

    Explanation: to find how fast the vehicle is going you have to decide 270 by 6 and you get 45 miles per hour, after this you have to add 2 hours to 6 which one hour being 45 that means 2 hours is 90 miles, now add 90 to 270 and you get 360
