What equivalent fractions can you use to find the sum of 2/8 + 3/9

    The least common multiple of 8 and 9 is 72.

    2/8 x (9/9) = 18/72

    3/9 x (8/8) = 24/72

    Conver them - 14/56 and 18/56 now add them and you would get 4/7 which is simplifed from 32/56
