Isn't it 1025-1050and that will give you 1050 feet difference. Since - 1025 is sea level and - 25 is which you will need to add will give you 1050 ft difference. I think that my math is correct

1025ft above Sea Level is John

25ft below Sea Level is his Brother

1025ft + 25ft = 1050ft

Thats the difference in altitude
