How to find the radius of a sphere with a volume of 972 pi?

    To find the radius of the sphere we proceed as follows:

    V=4/3πr³

    but

    V=972π

    thus

    972π=4/3πr³

    solving for r we get:

    3/4*972=r³

    r³=729

    r=9

    thus the radius is 9 units
