Amy wants to paint three walls in her family room. Two walls are 26 feet long by 9 feet wide. A gallon of paint covers about 250 squar meters. What is the total area of the walls that Amy wants to paint and How many gallons of paint should she need?

    The total area would be would be 468 because in order to find the area you would do 26 times 9 and get 234 but Since it’s two walls you multiply it by 2. Then in order to find the number of gallons you divide 468 by 250 because that’s how much one gallon covers and you should get 1.872 for the number of gallons she needs
