Given a 30-60-90 triangle whose shortest leg is 3 centimeters what is the length of the hypotenuse

    the lenght of the hypotenuse is determined either by taking into account sin 30, respectively sin60 and/or cos60, respectively cos30.

    Sin 30 = cos60=1/2

    the opposite line to the 30 degrees angle is (in this case) called "the shortest leg"

    Therefore the value of the hypothenuse is 30*2=60mm
