If two events a and b are independent and you know that p (a) = 0.70, what is the value of p (a | b) ?

    note 1:

    p (A|B) = p (A∩B) / p (B) ... (1)

    note 2:

    A and B independent: p (A∩B) = p (A) * p (B) ... (2)

    subsct in (1) : p (A|B) = p (A∩B) / p (B)

    = (p (A) * p (B)) / p (B)

    p (A|B) = p (A) = 0.70
