    and from the given, a is 5, b is - 41 and c is 42. Substituting this to the equation,

    x1 = ((41 + √ ((-41) ² - 4 (5) (42)) / 2 (5) = 7

    and

    x2 = ((41 - √ ((-41) ² - 4 (5) (42)) / 2 (5) = 1.2

    Thus, the factors are,

    (n - 7) (n + 1.2)
