60 pounds of fuel at 5.92 pounds per gallon is 60/5.92=10.13 gallons of gas.

42 laps at. 25 gallons per lap is 42*.25=10.5 gallons of gas. As this is slightly more than 10.13, the driver will not finish the race, and needs a bit more gas in the tank.
