Let's assume that the Length of the rectangle is (2x-5) m and The breadth of the rectangle is (2x+60) m.

Now, note that to find the perimeter of a shape requires the sum of all of its sides. In this case, A rectangle has 2 Lengths and 2 Breadths. Thus, the perimeter of the rectangle is

    2 (2x-5) + 2 (2x+60) = (4x-10) + (4x+120)

    = 8x+110

We don't stop there, the question says if the value if x is 12m

So, we substitute X into 12

    8 (12) + 110 = 96+110

    =206
