What is the volume of the right prism with height h=14 cm, if the base of the prism is a triangle ∆ABC with side AB = 9 cm and altitude to that side ha = 6 cm.

    The area formula is the area of the base times the height so Bh. to find the area of the base we need to know the formula for a triangle which is 1/2bh. so 9x6 is 54. then 54 divided by 2 is 27. so the area of the base is 27 and now multiply by the height which is 14. so 27x14 is 336. the the volume of the right prism is 336 centimeters squared.
